As part of the Redberry Designs process for developing content for your website project, we often create videos as a very effective medium for conveying and promoting your message, products or services. For Miami midwife Sheila Simms Watson, we created a video that told her personal story of how she became a midwife. Using her existing bio that was on her old site, we broke it up into about 30 one to two sentence tracks in a script format and simply had her read the text out loud. We utilized AudioAcrobat's conference line feature for Sheila to call in and record the script at her convenience. Once the completed audio file was downloaded, we used Adobe® Soundbooth® to separate the file into individual tracks, trimming dead air and removing false starts. The edited tracks were then reassembled into one audio file and the sound quality enhanced. In conjunction with the website development of Spirit of Life Midwifery by Redberry Designs, we had accumulated many images and videos from Sheila of her mothers, babies and births. We selected the ones that we felt best conveyed the emotion and tone of the video subject and then created our video using Adobe® AfterEffects® and PremierPro®. Here is the finished product.
